From a one-car garage to a community thousands strong, one thing has never changed:

Sportrock has always been, and always will be, for climbers, by climbers.

As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Beat the Heat, we're celebrating more than an event. We're celebrating every climber who shared a belay, borrowed a rope, lent some chalk, and helped create the community we know today.

Member: $0 per participant

Not-Yet-Member: $75 per participant for the first 75, then $95 per participant

Member Spectator: $0

Not-Yet-Member Spectator: $10 per person

There will be additional parking at Thomas Edison High School with shuttles to and from Sportrock. Due to limited parking, participants and spectators are encouraged to get creative with their transportation! Try carpooling, metro-ing, cycling, or other modes. Your cooperation will greatly benefit those who are unable to use the alternative options.

In order to receive a full refund to the card used for initial payment, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the start of the event. Any cancellations made after that point will receive a credit for the full value of the event to use towards future bookings at Sportrock.
