Climbing Techniques

This class was developed at the Sportrock Performance Institute, offered at all Sportrock gyms.

Climbing Techniques is a 2-hour class designed for beginner to intermediate climbers looking to build a strong foundation in movement and climbing efficiency. You will learn essential bouldering skills including footwork, body positioning, route reading, movement strategies and falling technique through guided instruction and hands-on practice. By the end of the session, climbers will have the tools to climb more confidently, move more efficiently, and structure their own intentional training sessions. No prior experience is required.

This class is for those new to climbing, bouldering pink or white tags, looking for a foundational skills base to progress as a climber.

All participants must be at least 13 years of age. If you are booking for younger climbers, check out our Youth Programs!
