Skills for Outdoor Sport Climbing- SRCG Indoor ClinicLooking to transition from indoor to outdoor sport climbing? This class will review clipping draws to outdoor bolts, building a simple anchor to toprope from, and how to effectively and securely clean and lower-off a sport climb.
Introduction to Rappelling- SRCG Indoor ClinicRappelling is a critical skill in almost all disciplines of outdoor roped climbing, as well as a fun activity in its own right. It also happens to be one of the most dangerous activities in climbing, as climbers are fully dependent on their gear. Join Sportrock Climbing Guides as we review the basics of rappelling, common mistakes, and ways to stack the odds in your favor!
Brand new climbers will get the chance to rappel in a supervised setting, and experienced climbers will learn a variety of ways to back up their rappel in both single-pitch and multi-pitch contexts.
No outdoor rappelling or climbing experience is necessary.

Introduction to Self Rescue - SRCG Indoor ClinicClimb outside, but not sure what to do in an emergency? Join Sportrock Climbing Guides for an evening of scenario-based self-rescue practice. We'll use scenarios to explore improvised solutions to common problems in the single pitch environment, and add new tools to your toolbox. Common skills include taking over the belay from an incapacitated belayer, bailing safely, hauling, and much more!
