Birthday Party

Looking for a special way to celebrate a birthday or milestone? Have your party at Sportrock! Our staff provides basic instruction, techniques, safety, and plenty of encouragement for all party participants. Climbing Parties are fun for children and adults of all ages - our staff will provide a unique experience you are sure to remember for years to come!

Climbing Parties at Sportrock consist of 90 minutes of climbing with a dedicated instructor and all of the necessary equipment. Each party includes the use of our designated party rooms during the 90-minute climbing portion, plus an additional 45 minutes once climbing has ended to enjoy food and drink!

Did you know! Members receive a 15% discount on climbing parties - applied automatically!

We staff parties according to a set instructor‑to‑climber ratio (1:5), so it’s best to book for the maximum number of climbers you expect. If you need to add climbers, please let us know at least two weeks before your event - otherwise we won't be able to accommodate them, and they won’t be allowed to climb for safety reasons. If you need to reduce your headcount, notify us at least 72 hours in advance to be eligible for a partial refund.

Sportrock does not provide plates, napkins, utensils, or tablecloths.

All party participants must be at least 8 years of age.

Gratuity is Always Appreciated but Never Required! We can only accept cash tips for our instructors.

Pricing for the first 10 Participants: $400
Each Additional Participant (up to 20): $38
The entire amount must be paid at the time of purchase.

Members receive a 15% discount, applied automatically based on the membership status of the booking adult.

Sportrock does not provide any food or supplies for your party. Pack as if you’re heading out for a picnic - bring everything you’ll need, including food, drinks, and eating utensils (plates, utensils, napkins, etc.). If you would prefer, you are welcome to arrange for food delivery directly to Sportrock. A refrigerator/freezer is available in your party room for your convenience.

Any gear not listed here will be provided to participants for no additional charge. If any participants have their own climbing gear that isn't listed here, they are encouraged to bring it.

In order to cancel or reschedule your event, you must contact Sportrock at least 14 days prior to the event. There is no refund if you reserve a group event or party less than 14 days in advance.
